Mail Boxes Etc crooks “I used fedex online to get a quote for shipping a perishable box next day. Mail Boxes Ect in Frederick Md. came up in a search for fedex locations and I took my box there. They wanted seventy dollars more than the Fedex online quote to ship the box. The guy at the counter lied to me several times about why the price was so much more than the online quote. He told me it had to do with me not having a fedex account, with a fee for fedex picking up the box (even though I dropped it off at their location). He gave me every reason except the truth, that the gravy is their profit. They are not a true fedex location and you will pay signifigantly more to ship your box from here. Even that would have been ok by me if I had not gotten online again when I got home and found out that he had spent ten minutes lying to me to get me to ship my box with them. The online quote accounted for every variable he mentioned and the only fine print in their quote was that price would vary with weight. Dont support crooks.”
